After learning the art of hand-lettering signs under his uncle, Gus DeSanty decided to strike out on his own. He set up shop in Bridgeport’s North End, and though the first space left a lot to be desired (neighbors included a very loud poultry shop), Gus’s attention to detail and commitment to quality quickly earned him a loyal customer base.
Over the years, ABC Sign grew steadily. In the 1980s, Gus’s sons, Greg and Brian DeSanty, joined the business. Their unique blend of engineering expertise, sales acumen, and creative vision took ABC Sign to the next level.
Today, Greg serves as President and CEO, leveraging his background in civil engineering to lead ABC’s most ambitious projects. Brian plays a key role as Vice President and Account Executive, continuing to build strong relationships and guide clients from concept to completion.
